Southern Distilling Co. is a whiskey and rye distillery based in Statesville, NC – a town that was once known as “The Distilling Capital of the World” before prohibition. So we were tasked with helping Southern Distilling create a brand that would help them share North Carolina’s best whiskey with the rest of the US.

Our new creative direction was built around the moments that Southern Distilling’s bourbon and rye were made for. The hard-earned moments. The slow, shared moments. And every celebration and reflection in between.
Distilling the Tone of Voice
Southern Distilling’s new tone of voice was grounded, engaging, transformative, emotive, wise. The friendly, hospital neighbor who believes in the power of hard work, community, and a good glass of bourbon or rye at the end of the day.
